the NEW EDITION story BIO Pic is full of s**t

While there is much of this bio pic that reflects actual history of this
sugar coated r&b boy band that peaked in the 80s,
there is so many fallacies and inconsistencies....

 - Little things but important aspects like equipment they use
are not from the time periods they are reflecting (check out the headphones
used in the recording studio , they are modern Audio Technica cans)

- There is no such thing as 'fast break' productions. They show the 3rd LP
from the band on MCA which was the 3rd LP on MCA, but in the 2nd
episode one of the band members confronts a label boss at MCA and he
breaks it to the 'naive' kid that he has a thing to learn and that the manager
was signed through MCA not the band, which is not true...

(still from 2nd episode - this is not on the real album)

- that manager is named "gary" in the film but he does not exist in real life.
(M. Rappaport hollywood actor as the fictional 'gary')

There are tons of things which are problems - and I wanted to make a quick list
to spark a conversation about finer details, I just went for some obvious things.
