A humour-full and brutally honest quote from Kim Fowley PT 1

Kim Fowley, pop-dom's (not pop-dumb) most interesting in-between,
has fascinating insights and ongoing honest reflection
of the scenery he lived and lives in, unfolding on his website
like a silver cat with an accordion.

Here's a quote I ripped off to share from his own site :

"The only difference between successful and non-successful folks in the music business is that the successful ones spend more time with more successful ones and in that reflective glory and metaphysical vampire-ism are able to acquire additional information which allows = career extension. ""

Ok, so the video-audio below does not work anymore.
The link was the needle drop of the original 7" single of Ry Cooper.

So that got me to compile the first volume of work produced or played by Rusty Evans.

Musicor 1965-MONO-MU1148 produced by Stan Kahan and mark barkan-

This slice of EARLY psychedelia stems from some 1965 sessions by Rusty Evans, pre Psychedelic Moods. He wrote songs such as "million grains of sand" at these sessions, which went onto the Psychedelic Psoul album by the Freak Scene, and also recorded by the Third Bardo.
These songs, unreleased until Collectables put out a Psychedelic Moods vol 5, Marcus rarities,
except for this single of course.
There is theremin, and demented rockabilly on acid dylanesque sounds on this Musicor Single.

There is a version with the picture cover that Rusty (ry cooper) aka, Marcus, drew. VERY rare, and in demand. The version on the Psychedelic Moods CD reissue, HAS A SKIP IN IT, so this the complete version! Also involved is Mark Barkhan (who did hydro pyro, and banana splits..among many others) Garry Sherman arranged. Mark Barkhan's Hyrdo Pyro, which was recorded at Mercury records,
was also on a Psychedelic moods rarities comp, Vol 2, which includes an electrifying, deep blue cover of
the LOVE classic 'signed d.c.' by the Fallen Angels. Come to think of it, if you ever see
that compilation, on CD, or the rare 1987 LP, it's worth a listen.

On this single, I have no clue who the musicians are. Rusty even forgets. This single is the rarest output from Rusty (real name - Marcus Uzilevsky). Rusty  knew Dylan, among other pop luminaries from his Greenwich village romping days as a folkie and illustrator.
Look for the upcoming dissection, here with freqazoidiac, of the rare Canadian MONO pressing of the
1966 album, Psychedelic Moods, by the deep. It differs in mixes, length, sound effect placement. No new vocal takes though.

Some words

~freQazoidiac came from beyond the 33rd dimension!

The cosmic tide had opened for the time to enable
the song structures of the collected past to be
placed into this chosen virtual dimension for a current
but unknown period of existance.
