Tom Rapp-Pearls before swine-beautiful lies you could live in
This is a majestic, beautiful LP. I transferred this one from an original White Label Reprise Pressing.
Very clean, and now available to download. Nice way to start the new year with this one. I don't
think this one has been reissued on CD. ?

beautiful lies... has indeed been released on CD! It is part of the box set, "Jewels Were The Stars" and also individually. (2001) I wrote the liner notes for the CD release, and am also Tom Rapp's current Producer. - Joe Phillips
ReplyDeleteOh great! I have been wanting that box set for a while now, I didn't realize it included this!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, and hope the projects with Tom are going good, he is an inspiring artist of the highest order.
Just a note too, I do not make any sort of profit off of my trades, they are strictly made for private use and just for sharing of Rare Vinyl sourced digital copies to fans of great music. Just as I went out and bought the LP, I always encourage people to support the artist when possible! Is the CD box set still in print?
Unfortunately, the box set and the individual CDs from it, are now out of press. Check on Ebay, you see one turn up once in awhile. We also have a new album out at WildCat Records. Pearls Before Swine LIVE. - Joe
ReplyDeletehi. i was actually looking for a back cover image for "one nation underground". i have the original vinyl (and have ripped it), but my scanner is too small to capture the entire back cover in one shot.
ReplyDeletesince i'm new here as well, i'm also curious about whatever else you have, but am not confident i am going about this the right way.
oops, just read the "attention" above... well, to be lazy, HERE is a comment: intriguing site, and as far as i can tell, a new-ish way of posting music- an alternative (it seems) to the rapidshare, etc., route. right now i get 40% of my music from soulseek, 40% from torrents, and the rest from newsgroups and blogs like this one. still want me to email you?
my address is blueswrite@gmail.com.
thanks- steve
oh, duh- i get it. by doing what i just did, i made my email address completely public...
ReplyDeleteoh well, guess i better just have faith the vast majority of visitors are upright souls....
